I agree! It's not that difficult to work them out for yourself, provided that you know something of the basic "building blocks"--trill, mordent, etc. and so on. That's partly why I recommended contacting Julianne Baird, who teaches a course in creating your own embellishments.
The added bonus of developing your own ornaments is that they spring from your individual reaction to, and interpretation of, the piece. It's a much more "organic" approach, and not something to be afraid of. If you want to be certain that your ideas are stylistically correct, just check them with someone whose judgement you respect.
