And sometimes mistakes are made. I didn't receive a call back a few years
back for Azucena at a small Bay Area opera company. I knew I had auditioned
well, and so finally called them about it. They said: "Oh, yes, you were
called back. Please come Saturday (which was in two days) and sing
'Condotta' ".
