Hi Jennifer, I've got my fingers crossed for you!! Hope it's good news!
I don't think it would hurt to ask for feedback; however, it's been my
experience that the people making the phone calls are often clerical staff
and they don't have any idea of how your performance went.

Keep us posted!

Subject: [vocalist-temporary] Post-audition etiquette

I went to my first musical theatre audition yesterday. I'd tell you how I
did, but I have absolutely no idea what was going on in the heads of the
auditioners. Anyway, they told me they'd be calling everyone (successful or
not) either yesterday or today. I haven't received a phone call yet, but
there were a lot of people auditioning.

Anyway, my question is whether it would be okay to ask for feedback when I
get the call (if I didn't get a part)? Since it was my first time, I'm sure
there are things I could improve, but I figure I have no way of knowing what
exactly to improve if someone doesn't tell me! However, I don't want to make
the person calling uncomfortable either. Any ideas/experiences?
