Welcome, Tracy, to the world of the Unlurkers! Dr. Diane Clark said it - to
which I might add: I've sung every male part in choirs and it was fine; I
know that particularily capable singers with wide strong ranges are often
asked to fill in wherever there is a deficiency or where a change of colour
is required by the director. Usually if you're good enough to be that
versatile you're already doing a lot of good things, and having the leisure
of exploring your voice more thoroughly than most choristers. Don't do
anything that hurts and you should be fine. john
