You might try to contact Julianne Baird, who has taught many classes on
Baroque embellishment. As a soprano, she should be able to make some
recommendations, or even help you develop your own ornaments if you are near
enough to work with her. (I believe that she lives in New Jersey. I think
you'll find that she's a very nice person as well as a fine singer and
Baroque specialist).

A good coach (or conductor) should also be able to give you some help. Look
for someone who is knowledgeable in Baroque repertoire and performance
practice.

A music library at a good university or NY's Lincoln Center library would
doubtless have books on the subject. I know that there is at least one book
about ornaments for Messiah arias, and I'm sure that there must be others.

Last but not least, try searching on Amazon.com and also on some of the
vocal-related web sites (try searching on "opera" or "vocal repertoire" for
starters, and explore the links on various sites)--it's amazing what you can
find.

Good luck!
Judy
