Mentioning the Fred Bock book reminded me of: "Draw Thou my Soul", music
by Janet Sanborn. The music is lovely & has a mystical sound to it.

"Three Mountain Hymns" arranged by Alice Parker also comes to mind. Don't
let the "for medium voice or unison choir" kid you into thinking these
are "easy" pieces. These pieces have difficult accompaniments and & takes
some work for the pianist & soloist to coordinate because of the
multitude of poly-rhythms.

Range is up to an F# on one & F on another, lowest range is down to Bb
below middle C. Works well for mezzos or sopranos with a rich sound in
the middle of the range. (Sounds like me!)
