Well folks, miracles DO happen every day!!! Yesterday I competed in the
Southern Regional NATS competition and placed 2nd in my division. Now my
division was the beginner adults, which I realize is pretty small potatoes,
but those of you who have been on this list for awhile will remember that I
had to have vocal cord surgery 16 months ago for a polyp removal. I guess
what I want to say is this:
1. NEVER give up. Voice problems are frightening but there is help out there!
2. I am 42.5 years old. You are never too old............I hope!
3. Vanderbilt Voice Center in Nashville Tennessee is a wonderful facility
with caring physicians and therapists and I owe them an awful lot-Dr. Ossoff
and Dr. Cleveland are great.
Anyway, I feel like my entire ordeal is over now and I can move on and not be
so paranoid about my voice.
