i asked more or less the same question a couple of weeks ago and got
a whole lot of useful replies; the most frequent opinion which came
out of this forum was the need to blend the head and chest registers,
there was also a thread relating to sopranos who sing alto in the
choir which i found very interesting as it was also related to 'that
problem area'.
