My teacher and coach would tell me the lowered, dropped jaw would correct any
support problem. I never had any there. As far as the lowered larynx, neither
would say anything about the larynx. My teacher informed me that after sleep my
larynx was in a "dropped" position. The bel canto side of the vocal pedagogy
coin didn't deal with the anatomy of the throat, overtones, etc, etc.
