Dear Les and Vocalist:
The Jeff Bridges movie you mentioned was about the Tucker Automobile
and Tucker, its inventor and manufacturer. It is a classic example
of how government can be used to protect large business from free
enterprise. What an interesting conundrum; business promotes free
enterprise as it shining grail but it also wishes to be protected
from it. I guess that approach to life is more common than we would
like to consider.
