Hi Nande,
I'm coming out of a long lurk to ask you if you know the two UK magazines Classical Music and The Singer? I realise they're in English, but at least they are European and not North American. Both published by Rhinegold Publishing, a London publisher (yes, that is how they spell Rhinegold!), Classical Music is fortnightly, and The Singer comes out every two months. I subscribe to both, and find them both worth reading. (I have no connection whatever with Rhinegold, just buy their products!)
The Singer in particular is very good; mainly classical, but also has articles on a range of musical and vocal styles, including cabaret (European and American styles), jazz singing, world music etc.
Rhinegold also publish annually a British and International Music Yearbook, and a British Performing Arts Yearbook. The British sections of these are very comprehensive, though they obviously cannot give up-to-date job opportunities. The international sections are probably less detailed but still useful and informative.
Rhinegold's website is www.rhinegold.co.uk
I personally would certainly welcome a publication, website, or whatever with details of performing opportunities in continental Europe, so, go for it, Nande!
Regards,
Sheila
