You can chose not to reply, I don't care, but the above quote combined with
the fact that classical record divisions of labels are being slashed or
eliminated along with the need for heavy subsidization of opera just shows
how little interest there is. It is dying if not already dead. It's not
like I take joy in this, but to 99% of Americans it falls on dead ears. It's
a bitter pill to swallow if you love opera and operatic singing but it is
true... sorry to break the news to you.
