Well, as an advocate of Moderated Carb consumption I suggest there are problems with consuming too much protein as well. My attitude towards protein consumption is NO MORE than 100 to 150 grams a day. However, for the steak eaters, beef is usually less than 30% protein by weight. All the rest is water or fat. No problem there, as long as you eat about 300 grams of low fat beef to get your needed 100 grams of protein.
