This reminds me of a question I have been needing to ask: I have a lot of "water-weight gain" each month and this affects my vocal cords-they feel edematous just like ALL the rest of me. Would taking a mild diuretic at this time adversely affect my cords? As it is, my singing voice is NOT what it should be for about one week a month, I thought maybe a diuretic might actually help my voice especially if I drink enough water. What do you guys think?
