Subject:  Microsoft meets Mozart

(The following originated on the Oracle DBA Mailing List.)

========================================================
The classical-music-minded among us may have noted a new TV ad for
Microsoft's Internet Explorer e-mail program which uses the "Confutatis
Maledictis" from Mozart's Requiem as its musical soundtrack.

"Where do you want to go today?" is the cheery line on the screen
while the chorus sings, "Confutatis maledictis, flammis acribus
addictis..." which translates from Latin into English as "The
damned and accursed are convicted to the flames of hell."

Glad to see that Microsoft has extended its usually high standards
to its musical research.
