well, I'd suggest you have your cords looked at ... you may have hemorrhaged
and have a bruised fold (as a result of the coughing), which is not that big
of a deal but will take some time to heal.

Randy is right about getting your cords looked at, but if they check out OK then
you need to steam and sleep and massively hydrate...
