Subject:  A Professional Layman Needs Help



Dearest list,
In fact i want to say this is the bets group i ever
subscribe to.I have been hear for days and the conversation is so wonderful that
hadly coukd i have ever believed that something of this nature exist.I have
gained a lot since i joined and i want to sa a wonderful thanks to all of you
guys,you are wonderful people.
My own storry goes,i was born in a small town downtown Nigeria in west Africa
and i have always loved music and due to my background,i hadnt must exposiure
but i could sing.The best of my singing was well noticed when i got into
school(University) studied Architecture but i´v always love to study music the
resources wasnt just there.Being a local champion,i could sing in church and
people will scream for joy but i dont have a single ideal about technics and all
that but i could manipulate my voice and produce something great.I have since
left Nigeria and now in central Europe where i am running a higher degree
programme in Architecture at the technical university vienna Austria.I still
love to sing but where do i start from??i am in the church choir singing well
but the major areas i know i have a great problem TIMING SINGING SOME COMPLEX
CORDS
I thought i could start with voice leasons but i dont know how and where i can
get a private voice teacher close to me here in VIENNA-AUSTRIA.I really would
love to go into misic full time if i have the resources and people like this
great family of ours.I want to use this medium to apeal to every member of the
list to do all they can to help me in this direction.Your contributions are
highly needed and any information you know could do me much good are highly
welcome.Once again i say thanks and God bless.
