Dear Candace,
Dwelling on the string theme, my current favourite is the
Georg Christoph Bach .. "Siehe, wie fein und lieblich ist."
Slightly more than a string quartet and directed a trio of
two tenors and a bass, it needs 3 viola da gamba, 1 violin,
1 viol and organ!!!
Well at least there are no extra wind instruments. :)
