I haven't noticed anyone on the list with a long signature that I
found objectionable. Rather than a vote on this subject I think we
would do better if we were all to make a New Year's resolution to to
abide by the rule about judicious editing of posts to which we
respond. THAT rule gets violated here a LOT!
