You're certainly right about that. I think of it whenever I sing "FOR unto us
a child is born"!
Or one of my favorite Messiah choruses, "All we like sheep", both of which
have the word stress all wrong. But I have to hand it to Handel (no pun
intended, I guess)- nobody ever wrote better gone-astray music!
