Switching to digest cuts down on the ads. But if you
want to keep getting individual emails, just turn off
the graphics option. If you go to the
www.yahoogroups.com website, you can navigate to your
"vocalist-temporary" page and then edit your mail
preferences; if you choose non-HTML (plain text)
rather than HTML for this group, you will stop getting
the colorful banner ads and popups in your mailbox.
This requires that you register with yahoogroups if
you subscribed via email only, but I think most people
here have already done that. Give dummy information
when registering if that part bothers you (just don't
put your birthdate as under 13 years old or they'll
boot you off).
