A lot of classicists are prejudiced against this style of singing and bring
up vocal health as the issue. However, the data does not support such claims
since singers with vocal problems are almost evenly distributed across
genres. In fact the one that has the most is amateur classical singers, but
not by much. However, those that take pure chest above bflat4 on a regular
basis do run higher risks because of the pressed nature of that phonation.
