WOW have these two men wonderfully/significantly altered my singing and every
aspect of my life. For those unawares of the powers of finely tuned
kinesthesia, I wholeheartedly recommend picking up these two texts:

_Freeing the Natural Voice_ by Kristin Linklater
(Drama Book Publishers, NY, 1976)
It's primarily a book for actors but BOY was/is it useful to me as a
singer/teacher.
Her ideas are mighty Feldenkrais-based.

_What Every Musician Needs to Know About the Body -- The Practical
Application of Body Mapping and the Alexander Technique to Making Music_ by
Barbara Conable.
(Andover Press, OH, 1998)
I show pages of this playful, illustration-laden, clear, powerful text to
students SEVERAL times daily; I shudder to think that I taught for a year
without this knowledge. (Conable's book _How to Learn the Alexander
Technique_ is also fabulously accessible/applicable to singing.)
