I can tell you that at UNT what matters is overall GPA (you must have
a minimum score to be accepted by the University. I do the transcript
evaluations for all incoming graduate students in voice (and yes,
it's as tedious as it sounds) but I don't look at grades as far as
acceptance. If you made a "D" in Opera Lit, though, you'll probably
have to take it again as a "deficiency". (Just as an example)
I imagine this is the same at most schools.
