Emile Belcourt advised me once that a helpful technique when breaking into speech after singing has just stopped, is to utter the very first few words much more loudly than normal so that you lead the audience's ears away from the singing level of noise back to the quieter speaking level. Then you don't feel what you are saying falls quite so flat as well. Singspiel is a very hard style which everyone finds difficult but if you listen to good operetta recordings that is what they seem to do as well.
Good luck!
