Then again the co-operation between the singer and the
pianist is what lieder is all about. An equal part.
There is one song I sing where there is a rit that continues
after I've stopped singing and before beginning again 'a tempo'
on the following bar, if the accompanist does not continue
slowing right to the end of the bar, I feel very upset but I
don't throw a tantrum. :)
