I've just attended the first two sessions of the semifinals of the
First Jeunesses Musicales Montreal International Music Competition in
voice. 51 singers from 21 countries are competing.

Radio-Canada is also webcasting the entire competition live.
The calibre is very high. Of the first 12 contestants thus far, I
would say 6 or 7 have a chance to advance to the finals.
