From Cindy I thought I'd pass this along. It's worth a read. My favorite phrase is "a >cut-price Verdi tenor with the charm and stagecraft of a water buffalo" >Cindy Donnell >~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A friend of mine wrote this about the review.
Yikes!!! I love the description of the Lenin school of acting!!! I sang Turandot and shared the performances with Eva Marton (Hungarian) who used to sing "the enigmi are three" and hold out 3 fingers, "and death is one" and hold out one finger. It cracked me up every time.
