Typically this sort of thing is due to vocal misuse of a chronic nature.
Checking pH is certainly reasonable as reflux will need to be fixed if
present. You said your technique is poor. If so, and you sing as much
as you say and are trying to sing above your range with poor technique,
you are a set up for hemorrhage.

You MUST correct your technique ASAP to protect your voice.
