Not the entire list but: Music, tools (film, video tape, books, etc.) theatrical
performance training at Andys Playhouse ($400 Summer/Kid), travel charges (for
interviews, performances), CD recording-manufacturing-distribution (for those
who are ready), concert attire, hair styling, general clothing, publicity, food,
technicians, engineers, tutors, dance instructors, concert hall rental costs,
etc.;all the normal expenses of artists, plus for kids, those usually covered by
parents who are more fluid. (I am not paid by NET funding.) Example: To prepare
Meredith Ryan Packer (13) for her Carnegie Hall debut over a two years prep
period cost over $45,000. (She's now 18 and studying opera in NYC). For Jillian
Wheeler (10) to prepare her in a year for professional singing and acting, about
the same. She, by the way, is co-starring in a new film "The Mandrake Root" with
Lynn Redgrave. Emily Hamilton's preparation as a classical singer was well over
$60,000 (http://www.mp3.com/emmy for a stunning 10 year old voice singing light
opera). Another one who has a chance to achieve success. (Sorry, you ask a
question and I start to brag.)
