Subject:  beginning teacher's angst.

Hi all,

well, I am applying to teach voice in a local music
school for this summer. I am practicing on my friends
here free of charge, and all I have to say is "woah!"
My first guinea pig is a guy and a baritone. I have no
idea how to tell him to get around the breaks in his
registers or any of that. HELP! what, as beginning
teachers, are good basic ped books that explain all
this? Oh- and my piano is limited. Anyone else with
this problem....how did you get around it, or how are
you working towards it?

Molly
