Well, this is a few years old .... it's basically a sort of bio.

Mezzo-soprano Christine Thomas has recently returned to the Milwaukee area
after 9 years in Washington, DC and Baltimore, where she earned a master's
degree in vocal performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Since
her return, she has appeared as a soloist with the Milwaukee Catholic
Symphony, Madison's Opera for the Young, Great Lakes Opera, and in concert at
Marquette University and Villa Terrace (as part of the Milwaukee Civic Music
Assn's Artist & Ensemble Series). Christine has a wide repertoire of music
appropriate for ceremonies of all denominations, from the familiar Ave Maria
to the more unique but less well-known masterpieces. She cantors regularly
at St. Robert's Church and is a substitute soloist at churches throughout the
metropolitan Milwaukee area.

Now that I read it, isn't "more unique" kind of redundant?
