One place to start might be the American Memories collection at the Library
of Congress. That's all I can think of off the top of my head...I'll try to
come up with some others.
Actually, until about the mid 19th century children were largely viewed as
miniature adults, and there might not be much at all in the way of
child-specific songs or musical games.
