Subject:  Re: To Brian: Recording on a PC

Please bear with me - I want to do the same thing but am not very
knowledgeable about computers. So I didn't "get" everything you
posted. I have a PC (obviously). I have CD burner program that my
husband bought. I have recorded some mp3 files (or was it .wav file??
don't know the difference) onto CD in the past but that's as far as
I've gotten. So if I want to record my voice onto a computer file -
how do I do it? Do I have to buy a special microphone for the computer
after I buy the program you mentioned? I have a Shure microphone and
a good CD/cassette CDG machine - would that come in handy? I often
record myself on cassette onto my cheap little casssete player also.
Sorry for the lack of knowledge. I wanted to send someone a file from
my computer of me singing.

Thanks,
Didi
