I think the song title I was groping for is "Today, Tomorrow and Forever."
(I taped "Viva Las Vegas" off TCM the other night. I'll go back and check
out that song again.)
"Love Me Tender" uses the tune from a Civil War-era song, "Aura Lee," and
has lyrics of tender simplicity.
