Only potential problem with this is that those MP3 files can get awfully big - particularly if you're trying to capture a 30-60 minute voice lesson. Not only will the hard disk space taken up be potentially significant, but the files - even further compressed with Zip or something similar - will be way too large to send via email; particularly given that many ISPs limit the size of email attachments that they allow to be passed through their mail system (because they don't want those huge files hogging up disk space on their mail servers, either).
