Subject:  Handel arias?!

Hey everyone,

I really enjoy singing Handel arias, and have done quite a bit of research
into his many operas (there are LOTS). However, sometimes I wonder which
ones are the most "popular," because there are so many - some standard
Handel soprano opera rep that if I show up and sing at an audition, the
jurors might recognize it! I know there are things like Cleopatra's two
most well known arias (Piangero and V'adoro Pupille), and most people know
Almirena's aria Lascia ch'io pianga from Rinaldo... and I think people are
even getting familiar with some of the Alcina arias (Tornami a vagheggiar,
Ah mio cor)...

What about oratorio rep that is not Messiah?

Are there any others? Let me know what you all think!

Thanks,
Fiona
