Hi Elly, Out of curiosity, how old are you? The reason I ask is this: If you're only 20, or just a very few years past the age when you could hit all those notes with east, perhaps it's an issue of technique and not an actual voice change.
However, as we get older, our voices do change and mature. For instance, when I was in my mid- to late-teens, I could hit stratospheric notes with great ease. Now, in my early 30s, I strugle for a high e-flat. But my voice itself has matured and deepened as well. I attribute that to several things: age, technique, babies. My voice teacher has even talked about how, as she gets older, her rep has had to change somewhat.
Personally, I'm much happier with my voice now. I think it sounds much more "adult". And I'm willing to sacrifice some of those upper-most notes if it means I sound great in the notes I DO sing well.
Maybe other people have different experiences. I'm interested in hearing about them.
