Mine was $350 (I decided to go top-of-the-line). It's a Sony, there are
probably cheaper options available (www.sony.com). I have not tried hooking
it up directly to speakers yet.... there is a line in jack and a headphones
jack. I'm planning to hook it into my receiver sometime soon.
