Given your narrowing criteria, I still think the Stanford IRISH IDYLL IN SIX MINIATURES ("THE FAIRY LOUGH") Op. 77 (which is for voice and piano, and has been performed and recorded successfully by light soprano voices) would be a good choice for you, as would many of the songs by Ivor Gurney.
