Naomi,

There is an entire cycle of Yeats poems by Thomas Dunhill (Wind in the Reeds,
Opus 30). Most (as I understand from those who've heard them all) are not
particularly distinguished, but you will probably love "The Cloths of
Heaven," which is the most famous song of the set. (I have it if you can't
find it--it's not easy to locate, and may actually be out of print.)

You might also want to look at John Duke's "A Piper" which should be perfect
for your voice. (I have this one too.)

Samuel Barber set quite a few Irish texts--again, "Nuvoletta" should be
wonderful for you. You might also take a look at "The Hermit Songs," "The
Secrets of the Old," and (if I remember correctly) "Where Daisies Are."

Rorem has "O do not love too long" and "To a young girl" that could be
possibilities. I don't have either.
