The other sensible listers who replied to your message/question have said what you should need to hear. My addition is that you are never behind or infront, and it matters not how large/small your repetoire is: just that whatever it is, you do it justice.
You could have one number only. But, if you sing it like no one else has ever sung it, then that would be enough. That of course, is in a perfect world, and as we all know on this list: does not exist in any shape or form!
You have some time to go yet so just take things easily. Remember also, that you can learn as many songs and arias as you like. You could have all the hundreds of songs that Schubert wrote by heart, but if they're all rubbish, then there's no point. The great tenor Alfredo Kraus, just about did a career that took him through six operatic roles. However, he did them better than anyone else! What more can I say?
