Milena,
Sometimes I feel as out in the dark as you. When I mark, it involves
dropping everything from D5 (is this right?) and above down the octave. (I'm
a mezzo, so this may be not the same as a soprano) Then I just sing
mezzopiano for everything else...which should not be difficult in the range
below the passagio.
I don't know if this corresponds at all to the "proper" way to mark, but it
sure works for me!
