Subject:  FORUM:constructive critics on singers: Roberto Alagna

Dear all,
I think it would be very interesting to gather some
constructive critics or comments on singers in order
to be able to appreciate our different approach of
perceiving voice.
THE TARGET SINGER, FOR THIS TIME, IS ROBERTO ALAGNA
Here are some questions to help beginning the dialog
but do feel free to comment on other aspects of voice:
How would you describe his voice? (quality of voice,
squillo, darkness, thickness, color, vocal
category…???)
What do you think is the repertoire which most suits
his voice? (done & undone repertoire…)
What do you think of his low, medium, high notes?
What is his best note?
What do you think of:
Interpretations skills?
Language skills?
Acting skills?
