hold auditions in New york ONCE (I think) a year for all the principles and
twice a year locally for Chorus roles. Is this fairly common?
Vancouver Opera (as in, Vancouver, BC, Canada) holds chorus auditions once a
year. For the principles in house auditions - they are held more than once
a year... you have to be invited. :).
