Paquette (who was not added to the show until around 1960) is a saucy
soubrette maidservant akin to Despina or Zerlina. She appears in a variety
of guises throughout the show, from nun to prostitute.
Paquette does not have an individual aria, but she sings in the major
ensemble numbers: "The Best of All Possible Worlds," "Make Our Garden
Grow," the Jesuits' number, etc.
