I have one other thought. There are some great books that can help you think
of the process of singing a different way. Neither is directly about singing,
and that's the beauty.
The first is "The Inner Game of Tennis" (the author is not on my lips, but
others here know it). He also as an Inner Game of Music, but the Tennis one is
the first and best of these book. Great ideas to apply to learning to sing.
The other is "A Soprano on Her Head". Again, I forget the author. Both are
easily available on amazon.com or your favorite book source.
