Subject:  Re: organizing music

Hi Milena:
Two words: FILING CABINET
I cannot tell you how much easier it is.
I organize my music by genre, ie:
opera
oratorio
musical theatre
art song
sacred
classical folk song
recital repertoire
songs I'm working on
and whatever categories work for you.
If I have books by composer, I save a separate
drawer for those and file them alphabetically.
The third drawer can be for binders, accompanist
copies and all other such items.
I now have 3 file cabinets but the system still works.
Good luck
Jacqueline
