Many people have mentioned that they're having trouble getting into the
manufacturers' websites. Beyond.com is hosting the current vdefs for
the major manufacturers and making them available through the virus
center. You do NOT need to buy anything if you already have the
anti-virus software and only need the latest virus definitions.
(ObDisclaimer) I do work for this company, but they're not paying me to
direct traffic their way, and at any rate the virus definition files
alone are free.
