There is an absolutely stunning Lied by Richard Strauss, "Morgen", op. 27
#4 - it's on Renee Fleming's "Beautiful Voice" CD - which can be performed
with piano and violin (tenor John McCormack used it on his recital tours
with Fritz Kreisler).

Ther is also an arrangement, published by Breitkopf and Hartel, of the
lovely aria "L'amero saro costante" from Mozart's IL RE PASTORE in which
the violin does a lovely "duet" with the voice throughout.

Also take a look at two of the Bach secular cantatas - there are arias
for soprano, violin, and continuo in BWV 202 and 205/205a (same aria,
different words in 205 and 205a).
